Chlor-D is a two-component system that comes as a dry mix. When the separate powders are combined with a designated volume of tap water, they produce a chlorine dioxide solution with a concentration of 4,000 ppm. This concentrate can then be easily dosed into the target water to achieve safe, disinfected water. No significant capital investment in equipment or infrastructure, other than a simple metering pump, is needed to start using Chlor-D.
The separate components have a guaranteed shelf life of three years. Once mixed, the concentrate maintains its full 4,000 ppm potency for up to 30 days, with gradual strength decline thereafter. Chlor-D™ offers safe water disinfection and 100% biocidal performance without the drawbacks associated with traditional disinfectants such as chlorine and “stabilized” chlorine dioxide.
